Storvik and Canadian industrial company Charl-Pol have established Alumotion, a new Canadian venture focused on delivering advanced automation and robotic solutions to the aluminium industry.

Storvik Group’s Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer, Siri Sande, has been nominated for the Women With Metal Award 2026 in the Role Model category. The nomination recognizes leadership and influence in the metals industry while highlighting the importance of increasing female visibility and participation across the sector.

Storvik welcomes four new apprentices in the industrial mechanic trade from across the region, strengthening its commitment to developing future skilled professionals through apprenticeship and vocational training.

Member of Parliament Joakim Myklebost Tangen and NHO Møre og Romsdal visited Storvik to discuss recruitment, apprenticeships, education pathways, and industrial investments. A key topic was Storvik’s collaboration with local schools to help young people struggling with school attendance find motivation, learning, and a sense of achievement through practical workplace experience.

Storvik welcomes Cathrine Elde Husby as the company’s new Marketing Coordinator. With extensive experience in marketing, communications, and business development, she will help strengthen the Group’s market presence and brand visibility.
